Hannes Michaels obtained his MSc degree in Nanoscience in 2017 from the University of Hamburg, Germany, after contributions to the research groups of Prof. Dr Hans-P. Oepen and Prof. Dr Wilfried Wurth. In late 2017, he started his doctoral studies at the Department of Chemistry at Uppsala University, Sweden with Dr Marina Freitag. Hannes has designed efficient indoor photovoltaic cells to power electronic devices from ambient light. His project focus is the exploration of mechanisms of charge transport in metalorganic materials and their structure-function relation.
